A Simple yet, unique way to to celebrate an engagement.

When Mycha and Miles asked me to come to a little A-frame cabin in Minnesotas north I was beyond thrilled. These two adorable creatures love was so palpable that it filled every nook and cranny of The Havens. Most engagement sessions take place outdoors at sunset - which is always lovely - though it was to my delight I discovered that I was equally inspired with an afternoon in a tiny kitchen with indie pop playing in the background sipping coffee and laughing with these two. It is lovely to know no matter how long I have been photographing love stories, there are always new methods to capturing the chemistry in people. Even in a place as simple as a kitchen on a Tuesday afternoon. Take a peek at their heartwarming engagement session, where afternoon light, soulful melodies, and their irresistible chemistry created a magical atmosphere within the confines of this simple intimate space.
